PASTORAL CARE MINISTRY
Organized under the Session's Congregational Life Commission, those involved with this ministry demonstrate what it means to love one another as Jesus commanded. With quite an extensive structure, some 29 group leaders try to maintain an awareness of all the concerns and prayer requests of the families in the congregation. Each month the group leaders are responsible for making contact with all those assigned to them; the information is then relayed to the representatives as well as to the pastors. Always ready and willing to help with the special needs of individuals and families, the Pastoral Care Ministry is a vital part of the Lord's work being done.

The GriefShare support group is now being held in the Parlor every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, 7-8 p.m. This meeting is a community-wide outreach sponsored by the Healing Heart Bereavement Support Groups and is an opportunity to experience God’s love during their journey of healing by meeting, sharing and supporting others who have experienced a similar loss.
