Adult Bible Study - Church Gym - TOPIC: Nehemiah

We will remain in the gym for a spacially distant - but valuable time of fellowship and study together.  We ask folks to wear a face mask as this will continue to provide protection for one another and allow us to meet!  As always, we are learning about the spread of the virus and watching local trends.  If we have to cancel a meal or the adult study, we will do our best to let you know as soon as we know.

About the study: We live in a world that has been damaged by disease and division. And we honestly don’t know what’s next… and how or if we will be able to return to the people we once were. Even with the confident hope that Jesus calls us to, we need to hear from heaven and learn how to rebuild. The prophet Nehemiah also lived in a world where the people had forgotten how to be together and find refuge in God’s city. So God called him… and the whole community to rebuild. In this study, we will listen to the ancient truths that may actually give us direction in the days to come.

Come and enjoy this special united study with a few thoughts in mind:

  • We will still practice healthy distancing and wear masks to love one another well.
  • We will also try to embrace discussion and sharing with one another.
  • There is no study guide or book to lead us; we will simply read and share with God is teaching us through Nehemiah’s and Israel’s story.
  • Feel free to bring your Bible, journal/notebook, or use the study sheet provided each week.

Contact Justin with questions. Feel free to come and check out the study – even if you can’t make it every week!
