Beginning on Wednesday, September 13 we will gather for a time of reading God's Word and prayer.   Nursery provided.

PRAYER CHAIN
Right now, the Prayer Chains are five groups consisting of approximately 10 people in each.  As the need arises, group leaders are contacted with prayer requests and then such requests are relayed to each of the individuals who serve as links in each chain.  Anyone may make requests.  Anyone may join a prayer chain simply by calling the Church Office, any of the ministers, or by filling out a prayer card and dropping it into the offering plate.  This is proving to be an increasingly effective and crucial ministry at Westminster.

PRAYER PARTNERS
This simple but meaningful program provides support and encouragement for its participants through daily prayer. Participants are assigned a different prayer partner each month. Both partners are then obliged to pray for one another each day, they are to seek to visit with or phone one another early in the month, and, to the extent that they feel comfortable, participants are to exchange prayer needs, praise reports, trials, etc. A ministry for people of all ages, the prayer partner program has approximately 70 participants at present.

MONDAY AFTERNOON PRAYER GROUP
On Monday at 3:00 p.m. in the parlor, this group meets to pray for others.  They maintain a prayer list and spend time praying together.  Concerns for each other, members of the congregation, and friends and neighbors are included in their prayers. (Does not meet during the summer months.)
