You might be familiar with the scene: a table is surrounded by Jesus and his disciples. Cups of wine and pieces of bread cover are scattered about. Small pools of water still linger on the floor from the washing of feet.
And now come the words. His final instructions to his beloved followers to invite them to surrender to the unfolding plan. In short…
Jesus will depart. They will abide. And the Holy Spirit will strengthen them.
Join us in a study of John's Gospel, focusing on this "Farewell Discourse” (John 14-17). Together we will explore how Jesus’ words provide preparation and encouragement for the difficult moments to come – and for a lifetime of trusting the Holy Spirit to guide us.

From our Pastor for Smaller Communities:
We always encourage folks to gather in person or virtually to discuss the highlights of each week's sermon. In this way, we intentionally go deeper - together and embrace a mindset that God's Word will be planted in us and nurtured to grow more. If you are not discussing the sermon and its passage each week with others, then set aside time to explore the questions on your own!
