Hello!  Thank you for checking out WPC and what we offer for children and families.  Our community is delighted to help children learn about our faith in Jesus Christ, while providing a safe and fun atmosphere to engage their growing young minds!  If you want to know more about what we offer or what to expect on a given Sunday, please contact our Children's Director, Becky Odum.

The mission of the Children’s Ministry Team is to teach our children the Word of God while equipping families to walk alongside them as they grow in their faith.

Sunday Morning (9:30 and 11:00)

Childcare and children's programming is being offered once again at the 9:30 am and 11:00 am services.

Nursery (birth - 3-year-old)

Parents will check in at the check-in kiosk by the Pineville Rd door.

Sunday School (4K - 5th grade)

4-year-olds - 5th graders will begin worship with their families. Right before the sermon, they will be dismissed to Children’s Church.

It would be very helpful if you could let us know if your child(ren) are planning to attend so we can have enough supplies and staff.

Wednesdays at WPC

We are excited for Kid’s Inc. to start back up on September 8, 2021. There will be a family dinner in the gym from 5:30-6:15. At 6:15 children will be dismissed to go to their classrooms and can be picked up at 7:30.
  •  Nursery (2-year-olds and under) for kids whose parents are participating in the adult programming.
Weather permitting, will go outside to play. If they cannot go outside they will play in a classroom.
  • Preschool (3 and 4 year olds)
They will begin in the classroom for a Bible lesson. After the lesson, they will go outside or in a classroom to play.
  • Elementary (K - 5th grade)
They will begin in the Gym for Bible and music time. We will then split into small groups for discussion time.

It would be very helpful if you could let us know if your children are planning to attend so we can have enough supplies and staff.

Imprint is a ministry for individuals with exceptionalities at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Imprint is a ministry to celebrate Christ’s people in their uniqueness and differences. Our ministry nurtures and leads these individuals to become active members in God’s house, being fully-devoted followers of Christ, integrated in the church, regardless of their ability and physical levels.  Contact for more.

Prayer Partner Ministry

The Prayer Partner Ministry is a new ministry we are starting at WPC. We are praying that people who do not have young kids will sign up and pray for families with young children. We will then pair a young family with this person and ask that they will commit to pray for this family daily and even send little notes occasionally to the kids.  We are praying that this will not just be one-sided though. We pray that families will pray for this person as well and even send them little cards or notes and speak to them in church. We would love to see this ministry be one that brings generations together, encourages parents, and surrounds our kids with prayer!
